"there is no such object on the server" error adding Perimeter IP List and Internal IP Range addresses
In Exchange System Manager, I open the properties for Message Delivery under Global Settings. If I click the Add button on the General tab to add/edit local server/network IP addresses, I get an error box that says:
There is no such object on the server.
Facility: Win32
ID no: c0072030
Exchange System Manager
I have tried doing a reinstall of Exchange (and SP1) in case something was corrupt. That didn't help.
I am running Windows 2003 SBS R2 with Exchange 2003. All service packs, patches, etc have been applied via Microsoft Update.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Karl

I would check that you are using the right permissions in Exchange... I have come across a similar issue and it was resolved by resetting the permissions for authenticated users.
Please see for more info: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996198.aspx
If not... Have you got any events in the Event Viewer that gives more detail? If so post them on here and I will have a look for you.
